After working in the
corporate world for over 30
years and experiencing a
high level of stress
first-hand, Debra Costanzo
realized the importance of
taking personal
responsibility for her own
health and wellness. This
realization placed a burning
desire in her heart to coach
those types of individuals
with whom she could most
personally relate: Corporate
Executives, Senior
Management, and other busy
professionals.
Busy professionals are over-tired, over-stressed, over-worked and,
sometimes, overweight. They have sacrificed their health for their
wealth. While executives are trying to make a million bucks, Debra
is helping them look like a million bucks! It's her goal to help
business leaders establish better lifestyle choices so they can
reduce their stress, as well as their waistlines. Healthy living
doesn't have to be painful. It doesn't have to be difficult.
As a co-author in STRESS OUT™, Debra
shares some of her expert tips that can help you to see why and how
to delegate.
In
the chapter entitled "8 Really, Really Good Reasons to Hire a
Virtual Assistant", she is speaking to solopreneurs who fear the
relinquishing of certain daily tasks to others. Because of their
fear, they continue to wear "hats" that cost much less per hour than
they are worth. In addition, they are frustrated by the unnecessary
stress that a person experiences when operating outside of their
passion and gifts. Thus, in this article, she encourages the
solopreneur to give up the notion that they must control each and
every daily task. Rather, she encourages them to embrace the freedom
to trust others and to embrace the creativity that can come as they
free up time in which to "create".

Really , Really Good Reasons to
Hire a Virtual Assistant
"The
best executive is the one who has sense enough
to pick good people to do what he wants done,
and self-restraint enough
to keep from meddling with them while they do it."
~ Theodore Roosevelt ~
Everybody has days when there simply
seems there's too much work to get done. Trying to get
everything done by yourself can really bring on stress. Some
people effectively deal with the pressure by learning how to
delegate certain jobs to others. When you unburden yourself and
not worry about every detail of how the work gets done, if you
can put full faith and trust in someone else to assist you it
can be an effective escape valve.
Some people can't let go. If you have the type of personality
that demands to know how things are going every minute, chances
are you're only increasing the pressure and stress on yourself
with this constantly worrying.
To lessen stress you must either learn to trust others to get
the job done, or prioritize jobs to get rid of "what must be
done" first or not at all.
This chapter offers you 8 easy
solutions.

Stress is a
constant in our
lives, such a
constant that we
actually don’t
realize we are
under stress, we
think it’s “just
part of life.”
Traffic jams,
deadlines,
eating on the
run, we stress
when we have
bills to pay,
job changes,
endless chores
and too many
errands. Our job
has stress, not
having a job has
stress, it’s
stressful
maintaining your
weight, having a
relationship is
stressful, not
being in a
relationship is
stressful,
family
responsibilities
are stress, and
all those other
demands on you
can be huge
amounts of
stress.
Not to
mention those
people who
really get on
your nerves.
Our energy is
drained, and we
feel helpless.
Health surveys
report that over
70% of people
feel stress
everyday.
You
are not alone.
Hi, my name is
Sumner
Davenport,
one
of the authors
in this timely
book.
Don't let the
smile on my face
fool you -
I am just like
you -
attempting to
figure out how
to balance all
of my
obligations,
deal with
frustrations and
setbacks, health
worries, bills
to pay,
relationships,
and all the
other everyday
stresses ......
and desiring to
be happy at the
same time.
But is there
anything that
can be done?
Yes! There is!
Just like you, I
needed answers.
I certainly
didn't have them
all, in fact, on
some days I
didn't think I
had even one. I
searched....
listened to
experts, created
polls and
surveys, talked
to strangers -
people like you
and me. This
book
is more than
just my words or
experience, it
is a joint
effort of
several authors
who share their
expert advice
and
experience
PLUS
stories and
testimonials
from individuals
interviewed
during my
extensive search
for solutions to
teach stress
who's the boss.
You may have
searched the
internet for
answers as so
many do, and
found one
suggestion at
one website you
visited that
made sense to
you, and you
searched longer
and found
another one on
another site and
with more
research you may
have found more.
And the more
time you spent
on the internet
looking for
solutions, the
more stress you
began to feel.
You may have
found, like I
did, information
that talked more
about the
problem and less
about solutions.
This book is
filled with
solutions!
